No account, no tracking of who you are

Slide Invites doesn't require an account, doesn't use sign-in of any kind, and doesn't set any cookies of its own. While you're designing an invitation, everything lives only in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to save and share it.

What's stored if you save an invitation

Clicking "Save & Share" sends the invitation's content (slides, text, images, colors — whatever you built) to our server and stores it, along with an expiration date you choose (up to a year out). If you set a password, only its bcrypt hash is stored — the password itself is never saved in a readable form. The invitation, and everything tied to it, is automatically and permanently deleted once it expires.

RSVP responses

If someone submits an RSVP on a shared invitation, we store the name and response (Yes/No/Maybe) they entered, tied to that invitation, visible to whoever holds the invitation's responses link. This is deleted along with the invitation when it expires.

Basic site analytics

We record which pages are visited (the path and, if present, the referring page) to understand overall traffic — not who's visiting. No IP address, device fingerprint, or other personally identifying information is stored as part of this.

Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which — like any external resource — can see the request come from your browser. If ads are enabled on this site, Google AdSense may set its own cookies and collect data under Google's Privacy Policy; we don't control that data or receive it ourselves. If email notifications are enabled for RSVPs, the notification is sent via SendGrid.
